Cally (Ch Cascadian Caliner de Bondir A/C CD, AGI, NA, NAJ, NAP, NAC, NJC, ADC, TT) finished her CKC Agility Intermediate title in December 2003.  She obtained her AKC NAP in January 2004 with class placements. 
Libby -- In December of 2003, Libby (Ch Bondir's et Tessera Deliberer A/C CD, SHD, AGI, NA, NAJ, NAC, NJC, TT) obtained the first leg of her CKC Agility Excellent title with a first class placement.
Minnie (Ch Bondir's Eminent Encore A/C CD, NAJ, TT) made the trek to Montana in October of 2003 & finished her NAJ with a first class placement & a perfect score.

Conformation Updates

Gertie (Bondir's Irrepressible Gertie) is now working towards her Canadian Championship -- she now has 7 points:
July 30, 2005 Winners Female from the Bred by Exhibitor class for 2 points, Judge Raita Ritva  
July 15, 2005 Winners Female/Best of Winners from the Bred by Exhibitor class for 2 points, Judge Frank Kane
March 12, 2005 Winners Female from the Bred By Exhibitor class for 1 point; Judge Edgar Bajona
February 4, 2005 Winners Female from 9-12 month class for 2 points; Judge Joe Tacker
Cally is having fun competing in the Veteran class.  
Cally won the breed, from the Veteran class at 11+ years of age,  on July 15, 2005 at the English Springer Spaniel Club of Canada booster at the Westwind Sporting Dog Specialty under judge Frank Kane (United Kingdom).
Cally won Best in Specialty Show at WRESSAA Specialty (from the Veteran bitch class at 10 years of age) the Canadian National weekend under judge Jerry Watson on July 31, 2004
July 31st, 2004 she won Best in Veteran Sweepstakes at WRESSAA Specialty, judge Karen Lee (Halwendan)
 August 2003 Alberta Kennel Club all-breed Show she won the highly competitive 9-11 Years Sweepstakes class.
In 2002 (at 8+ years of age) she had wins from the Veteran class including BOS wins at WRESSAA's 2002 Specialty Show & the Westwind Sporting Dog Specialty (where she also won the 7-9 years Sweeps age class).
At the 2002 Puget Sound ESSA Specialty she placed 4th in the Veteran Bitch class (owner handled) in a highly competitive field under breeder judge Judi Anderson.
In the ESSFTA National Show she improved her showing to a 3rd class placement under breeder judge Susanne Burgess (again owner handled).
On November 5, 2004 Gigi, (Ch Bondir's Gamine Georgine) finished her Canadian championship by going Winner's Female/Best of Opposite Sex for a 2 point win (Judge Dr. Alvin Krause).  In April 20, 2004, Gigi (Bondir's Gamine Georgine) won the Breed at Edmonton Kennel Club show for 2 points to her Canadian Championship.  In April 2003, she went Winner's Female then won the Breed & went on to a 4th in Group at the Edmonton Kennel Club Show (Judge: Mrs. Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen, Finland) for a 5 point win towards her Canadian Championship.  She went Reserve Winner's Bitch at WRESSAA's October 2002 Specialty Show.

In June 2004, Amber, Ch Bondir's Fasciner Ambre PCD, travelled to the U.S. & came home with 3 more majors -- she now has 14 points.  On June 24, 2003 at the Five Valley Kennel Club Show in Missoula Montana, Amber received the first points towards her American championship -- a 3 point major under judge Howard Falberg.  She finished her Canadian Championship completely breeder/owner handled at the age of 15 months! 

Webster (Ch Bondir's A to Z Lexicographer) finished his Canadian Championship on Friday August 1 2003 at the Alberta Kennel Club show by going Best of Winners for 2 points (judge Edd Biven).  He won the breed on Sunday March 2nd, 2003 for 3 points towards his Canadian Championship (judge J. Council Parker).  He went Best of Winners at the Alberta Kennel Club show Sunday February 2, 2003 for 2 points.  He started his Canadian Championship in fine style in 2002 with 2 Specialty wins (Specialty win Picture).

Emma, Ch Bondir's d'Or Aime de Tous finished her championship on Saturday August 2, 2003 at the Alberta Kennel Club -- she went Winner's Bitch both Friday (judge Edd Biven) & Saturday  (judge Carol Esterkin) to finish.   At the Edmonton Kennel Club Show in Edmonton on Friday April 18, 2003, she  won the Breed under judge William Taylor for a 3 point win.  She now has 7 points towards her Canadian Championship.  She   started her Canadian championship by going Winner's Female & Best of Winners for 2 points under judge Elliott Weiss at the Alberta Kennel Club Show held in Calgary Alberta on February 1, 2003,.  She also went Winner's Female for 2 more points on Sunday February 2, 2003 under judge Sue Ellen Rempel.

Baxter  (Ch Bondir's Braveheart) finished his American championship Friday June 21, 2002 at the Great Falls show under judge Dr. Alvin Krause by going Winner's Dog/Best of Winners.  He finished with a 5 point major -- his 3rd major.

At the Alberta Kennel Club Show held in Calgary Alberta on February 3, 2002, Indigo (Ch Bondir's Indigo Inc) finished his Canadian championship by going Winner's Dog for 2 points. He becomes the first Champion in the Libby/Colours litter!

Obedience Updates:

Libby (Ch Bondir's et Tessera Deliberer A/C CD, SHD, AGI, NA, NAJ, NAC, NJC, TT) had fun at the 2004 ESSCC National -- she placed 2nd in Veteran Obedience at the age of 10.  At the 2003 ESSFTA National she qualified in Veteran Obedience & placed 2nd in Brace Obedience with her daughter Minnie.
Minnie had fun at the ESSFTA National in 2003 -- she & her Mom placed 2nd in Brace Obedience.  She completed her American CD August 31, 2002 at the Great Falls Dog Training Club trials in Great Falls Montana -- 3 times in the ring, 3 qualifying scores.  
Cally (Ch Cascadian Caliner de Bondir A/C CD, AGN, NA, NAC, NJC, ADC, TT) completed her American CD on September 1, 2002 with 2 qualifying scores at the Great Falls Dog Training Club trials in Great Falls Montana.  She obtained the first leg of her American CD at the Puget Sound English Springer Spaniel Association Specialty with a 3rd class placement (July 31, 2002).
Amber (Ch Bondir's Fasciner Ambre PCD); made her Obedience debut in the new Official Pre-Novice class at the Alberta Kennel Club Show in February 2003.  On Sunday Feb. 2, 2003, both she & Webster received a qualifying pass in this new class.  Amber completed her PCD with passes at the August 2003 Alberta Kennel Club Shows.

Breeding Plans:

"Victoria" Ch Bondir's Baie d'Or Victorienne (OFA Good Hips, OFA Normal Elbows, Eyes ACVO'd normal May 2009) has been bred to American Champion Rendition Autumfire Armstrong "Louis" (beautiful black & white boy born July 9, 1999; OFA Good Hips, OFA Normal Elbows, CERF 2009).  Puppies whelped September 30, 2009 -- 1 Black & White Female; 2 Black & White Males; 1 Liver & White Male.  You can see more of Victoria as a puppy on our 2006 Litter page.  Look for pictures of the puppies to be posted soon.

2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998   

2003 was a full year.  We finished 2 of our Colours/Libby puppies -- completely breeder handled -- Ch Bondir's A to Z Lexicographer PCD (Webster) & Ch Bondir's d'Or Aime de Tous (Emma).  Both Amber (Ch Bondir's Fasciner Ambre PCD) & Webster obtained their PCD titles in Obedience.  Both Libby (Ch Bondir's et Tessera Deliberer A/C CD, SHD, AGI, NA, NAJ, NAC, NJC, TT) & Cally (Ch Cascadian Caliner de Bondir A/C CD, AGI, NA, NAJ, NAP, NAC, NJC, ADC, TT) competed their CKC Agility Intermediate Titles (AGI) with class placements.  Minnie completed her AKC NAJ & obtained the 2nd leg of her NA.
In 2002, Bondir dogs had fun in conformation, obedience & agility in both Canada & the U.S.  Cally obtained both her AKC NA (with a first class placement) & her AKC CD (with a class placement at PSESSA Specialty in conjunction with the ESSFTA 2002 National in Olympia Washington).  Libby obtained her AKC NA & NAJ with multiple class placements at shows in Puyallup & Portland.  She also received 2 legs on her OAJ & the first leg on her CKC Agility Intermediate title.  Minnie obtained her American CD with qualifying scores in her first 3 AKC trials (including legs at PSESSA Specialty & ESSFTA National),  2 legs on her NAJ (including leg at ESSFTA National) & the first leg on her NA at shows in Montana.  Baxter completed his American Championship in June 2002 with his 3rd major.  Littermates Amber & Indigo completed their Canadian championships early in 2002 -- Indigo at 14 months & Amber at 15 months (completely breeder/owner handled).  We also had some nice Specialty wins  including Cally's BOS wins & Webster's Winner's Dogs wins at both WRESSAA's Specialty & Westwind Sporting Dog Specialty & Gigi's Reserve Winner's Female win at WRESSAA's 2002 Specialty.
In 2001 Cally whelped her first litter of puppies; Minnie completed her Canadian CD -- all legs with class placements;  we started our puppies on their Canadian championships -- Amber & Indigo both received 6 points towards their championships & Cally received the first 2 legs on her AKC NA title with class placements at the ESSFTA Nationals.  We had a great year!  Below Cally, Libby, Minnie, Gigi, Oliver & Amber are pictured Christmas 2001. 2000 was a fun year.  Cally won an Award of Merit at the English Springer Spaniel Club of Canada National (ESSCC), was awarded the High Scoring Novice Obedience Award by the ESSCC & obtained her AgN title with class placements.  Libby also obtained her AgN title, was awarded the Best of Opposite Sex Award by the ESSCC & whelped her second litter of puppies.  Minnie obtained the first 2 legs on her CD with class placements & the first leg on her AgN.
1999 was another successful year for Bondir. Cally received her NADAC NAC & NJC & her Agility Association of Canada ADC. She also received her Canadian CD with class placements. Libby also received her NADAC NAC & NJC & began work in Open. She obtained her first leg toward her ADC with a first class placement. In Conformation she won 10 Best of Breeds & 25+ Best of Opposite Sex wins & placed in the Brood Bitch class at the U.S. Nationals in Portland with the help of "Minnie" (Ch Bondir's Eminent Encore TT) & her sister "Sara" (Bondir's Flying Duchess CGC). Minnie finished her Canadian Championship in 1999 -- our first completely owner/handled Champion. She also graduated 1st in her class in Obedience & began work in agility.
1998 was a very good year for Bondir English Springer Spaniels. We finished our first home-bred Champion (Ch Bondir's Braveheart, "Baxter"); Libby (Ch Bondir's et Tessera Deliberer A/C CD, SHD, TT) obtained her American CD with her second High in Class and her Canadian Scent Hurdle Dog title; Cally (Ch Cascadian Caliner de Bondir TT) was a breed winning and group placing bitch and Minnie (Bondir's Eminent Encore TT) obtained her first points towards her Canadian championship. Our web site was awarded a Heartland Hallmark Award and then the "E.S.S.pecially Nice Site Award" from the Dabble Diner.
