Introduction

Mandy, our first English Springer Spaniel, introduced us to the many joys of this breed. She loved everyone and made herself at home wherever she found herself. Her favourite past time was going for car rides and at age 15 she still enjoyed going to dog shows. (Back)

Show & Activity Updates

Mandy introduced us to the world of the pure-bred dog. Although we were discouraged from showing her because she had "ticking" & in our naivety we listened she entered her first "fun" show at age 9 where she went Best of Opposite Sex. We showed her at WRESSAA & ESSFTA Specialties in Veteran Sweepstakes including at the 1993 ESSFTA Nationals in Minnesota & the 1994 WRESSAA Specialty. She had a great time, even at age 15 & enjoyed the limelight!

We started Obedience classes with Mandy at age 10 -- it's never too late to teach an old dog new tricks! (Back)
